Some Culture!

In classes, we go to A LOT of museums and historical landmarks.

Some beautiful churches for your viewing pleasure:

St. Georges:

All Saints Church:

Department stores in London are definitely not like the ones back in the states. There is so much more thought and European engraved details carved into the architecture of every store. I can't afford a dang thing but it's just so amazing to look at :(. One day...

Pretty much met the love of my life today, Miss 2.55. Look how pretty she is on her crystal shelf :).

A typical lunch, everything is so cutely packed.

The only place in London I'd say has cheap clothes besides stores already found in the U.S...

PRIMARK:

WARNING: Do not enter unless you're ready for mayhem and going at it like it's Black Friday. Leggings, 5 pairs of socks, for a POUND?? Cute boots for 8 pounds? DONE.

The Saatchi Gallery:

One of the most disturbing and captivating exhibits I've been to (not to say I've been to much... but still.) The gallery is sponsored by Chanel (imagine my somewhat interest go to full-on attention status in a min...) so I was already intrigued. Some of the most socially questioning pieces I've seen. Reading the bios, all of the artists went through massive hardships, and many were from the Middle East.

Women are nothing but faces of menial house chores (strainer, broom, rubber gloves):

What you see on the outside, is not how I feel on the inside:

Ghosts:

Old men in wheelchairs, SO LIFE-LIKE. Each hollow, dying, and holding some kind of object that has caused his demise (alcohol bottle, scissors...):

The Tate Modern:

Largest collection of Modernist art in the world. They wouldn't let me take pictures but I did it anyway...haha.

Millenium Bridge! Such a beautiful day!

Tate Modern is incredibly big. I want to die from the walking, plus I'm sick. Haha, but it's absolutely gorgeous.

All the walls were pretty dang awesome:

Hail Hitler??

A satire of Jane Seymour:

Industrialization:

Inspired by LA metropolitan area:

MoMa's Andy Warhol collection was, obviously, muchhhh better.

Sooooo incredibly cute! I want ooooneeeeeee.

I forgot who this artist was but I would so love to have one of these in my future house :).

Ending thoughts:
Definitely thought about Slin today cuz she's all into this stuff, I'm sure she would have appreciated it much more than I have, so these pictures are for you darling.
