-Bus Tour today, got a preview of the entire City of London.
-Hung out on Oxford St., Shopping MECCA of department stores/ chain stores
-Went to Welcome Dinner at Porter's in Covent Gardens, a beautiful little area of food/pubs
-Went to my first bar!
Things I Learned:
1. London is divided into 2 parts: City of Westminister and London. City of Westminister is for Parliament and Buckingham Palace, and London is for all business/commercial.
2. My wallet is crying. 250 dollars = 186 British Pounds
3. Tesco Supermarkets is the owners of Fresh n' Easy.
-British Supermarkets are super cute and clean, everything is packaged so tidily.
4. British Meat Pies are actually not that bad, tastes like chicken pot pie!
5. I am not a fan of British puddings, super thick, like a cake....
-Spotted Dick is vanilla pudding with raisins, thus the spotted.
Big Ben!
Westminister Abbey, where most of the Royals and Princess Diana were buried.
London's Arc, much smaller because "London cares more about quality than size," a comeback to Paris's Arc de Triomphe.
In front of the schooool! All schools here are super small, as expected.
Steak and Mushroom Pie w/ the creamiest mashed potatoes I've ever had in my LIFE
Spotted Dick!
LA Walk of Fame, delicious!
I didn't want to be super tourist and take pictures in the bar so I did it sneakily... and it turned out blurry. Hahaha
